Tracking the Ancestors

Welcome Hennessys, Nelsons, and Heisserers!

To all those that have been personally invited to view this information and everyone else that is interested: welcome!

This is where I’m going to post as much information as I can about all that I’ve dug up on both the Nelson side of the family and the Hennessy side, although I must admit that I have a boatload more on the Nelsons (sorry Mom!). To start off, I want to make sure that everyone knows what they’re getting into. All of this information has articles, census papers, death certificates, marriage records, immigration paperwork, etc that can confirm the information I will post on here. Anything that I’m still trying to confirm, will be labeled as such.

I will be updating this as I confirm information or uncover new links. If anyone has any further information concerning any of the people on this site, please contact me or leave a comment with the info and I’ll plug it into the site (never fear you will be sited as the source to show my undying appreciation for sharing).

Records, Photos, and Clippings Requests:

If interested, feel free to email me any scanned photos or other documents. I’ve slowly been working my way through all of the photos that I have in an effort to make sure there is a digital record of them. I’ve also been able to clean up some damaged photos and increase the resolution so that they can be enlarged. Please feel free to contact me if you have images you’d like me to “fix.”

Hello. I am researching the family history for a client from SE Missouri. They have many Heisserer ancestors and I have greatly appreciated the biographical materials that you have posted on your website. I am now writing their family history and I would like to give you credit for that info, but (1) I don’t know who you are, and (2) I don’t know if/how you would like to be credited. (I am talking about a line in my “Preface and Acknowledgments” chapter.
Would you please drop me a note to let me know…

Thanks, Ted Steele (St. Louis, MO)
